The notified Protocol establishes the requirements in respect of light pollution that must be met for the certification of luminaires and floodlights for use in the types of outdoor lighting defined in Articles 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Ministry of the Environment Supreme Decree No. 1/2022, establishing the "Artificial light emission standard for outdoor lighting, based on the revision of Ministry of the Environment Supreme Decree No. 43 of 2012". Such luminaires and floodlights must be in a condition representative of new manufacture, with a supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 volts, in accordance with the scope and coverage set out in IEC 62722-1 Ed. 1.0 2014-09: "Luminaire performance - Part 1: General requirements", and the other reference standards indicated in Table A, depending on the nature or type of light source used.

The notified Protocol establishes the requirements in respect of light pollution that must be met for the certification of luminaires and floodlights for use in the types of outdoor lighting defined in Articles 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Ministry of the Environment Supreme Decree No. 1/2022, establishing the "Artificial light emission standard for outdoor lighting, based on the revision of Ministry of the Environment Supreme Decree No. 43 of 2012". In summary:

The minimum energy efficiency standard for refrigerators is in force and corresponds to that established in Resolution No. 74 of 2014 of the Ministry of Energy, on the basis of the limits established on the 2007 energy efficiency label for refrigerators. As a result of the updating of the test protocols and of the limits on the energy efficiency label, in line with international procedures, there is a need to update the limits of the energy efficiency standard for household refrigerators.

To conserve energy by prescribing energy efficiency labelling requirements.
Measure description Coverage of the measure
The minimum energy efficiency standard for refrigerators is in force and corresponds to that established in Resolution No. 74 of 2014 of the Ministry of Energy, on the basis of the limits established on the 2007 energy efficiency label for refrigerators. As a result of the updating of the test protocols and of the limits on the energy efficiency label, in line with international procedures, there is a need to update the limits of the energy efficiency standard for household refrigerators.
