1. Ozone depleting substances: Kazakhstan manages its obligations for ozone depleting substances controlled by the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. The import, export and manufacture of the ozone depleting substances is prohibited under the Montreal Protocol, except where an essential or critical use exemption has been granted by the Parties to the Montreal Protocol. Kazakhstan's Montreal Protocol obligations are implemented through a system of licensing.

12. Wild live animals and plants: List of Goods that are subject of import/export prohibitions or restrictions in trade with third countries (Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) No. 30 "On measures of Non-Tariff Regulation" of 21 April 2015, as last amended on 13 December 2017, Annex 2.7) regulates international trade of species, live wildlife, and species listed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

Convention on International Trade in Endangered…
Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) Permit - The Georgian Law on the Georgian "Red List" and "Red Data Book", based on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), requires the import permit issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture for the import of the wild- taken specimens of the species included in the Appendix I of the Convention. The Ministry also issues the certificate for introduction from the sea for the specimens harvested in the marine areas beyond the national jurisdictions. At the same time, CITES permit/certificate issued by the CITES Management Authority of the exporting/re- exporting country is required for all specimens of species listed in the Appendices of the Convention.
