New South Wales: Drought Assistance Fund (DAF): The Drought Assistance Fund (DAF) was opened in June 2018 to provide loan assistance for producers in drought affected areas with the cost of transporting fodder for stock to properties, stock to agistment, returning stock from agistment, domestic water, stock drinking water and stock to sale or slaughter.

New South Wales: Seafood Innovation Fund Loan Scheme: The SIF is an incentive-based initiative to assist businesses within the seafood sector in NSW to identify and address risks to their business, improve permanent assets and infrastructure, ensure long term productivity and sustainable use of the marine, estuarine and land-based environment, while aiding in building resilience to changes in seasonal conditions.

• Preparedness: risk reduction and adaptability to changing seasonal conditionals and climatic events.

New South Wales: Forest Industries Innovation Fund (FIIF) Loan Scheme: The FIIF aims to foster the development and adoption of innovative new technologies, approaches or products to increase sustainable economic growth and support jobs in regional areas to: (...)
• support investment in new technology that:
o optimises efficiency and cost effectiveness of wood production and log and residue processing to improve the sector's productivity and financial sustainability; and
o respond to a changing wood supply resource.
• promote a better understanding of the timber resource that is available into the future;
• promote the sustainable management of NSW forests;

New South Wales: Coal Innovation NSW Fund grants program: This funding program aims to assist emerging energy technologies, that may provide future solutions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the mining and use of coal, through direct investment in research, development and demonstration (RD&D) projects.

The purposes of the fund include providing funding for research into, and development of, low emissions coal technologies, funding demonstration of low emissions coal technologies and funding commercialisation of low emissions coal technologies.

New South Wales: New Frontiers Cooperative Drilling: The program supports the long-term sustainability of the NSW resources sector by:
• Supporting mineral exploration and discovery in NSW that will ultimately ensure a sustainable economic resource pipeline for the state.

Northern Territory: Smarter Business Solutions: The Smarter Business Solutions program is designed to help Northern Territory business enterprises reduce their day to day operating costs. The program assistance includes free advice and grant funding incentives for Territory enterprises to adopt efficient, innovative technologies and best practices that will reduce their energy, water, waste and material costs.

Queensland: Vessel Tracking Rebate Scheme: The Queensland Sustainable Fisheries Strategy 2017-2027 outlines a ten-year reform agenda for the sustainable management of Queensland fisheries. As part of this strategy, vessel tracking capability will be required on all commercial fishing boats by 2020, with units to be installed on net, line and crab commercial fishing boats by 1 January 2019.

Queensland: Primary Industry Productivity Enhancement Scheme (PIPES): To assist primary producers to establish a primary production enterprise or to improve the sustainability of an existing primary production enterprise.

To provide sustainable loans to primary producers aiming to achieve long term sustainability, assisting in the purchase of equipment to meet environmental requirements, or drought/flood 'proof' a property. Implement sustainable resource management practices, including alternative energy systems to achieve long-term sustainability.

Queensland: Business Energy Savers Program: The Business Energy Savers Program provides free energy audits for agricultural customers and large business customers, and co-contributions to fund energy efficiency upgrades.

Queensland: Great Barrier Reef Island Resorts Rejuvenation Fund: To partner with industry to rejuvenate the Great Barrier Reef Island resorts through three key objectives of:
• Growing - encouraging further development of common user and public facilities;
• Greening - fostering more environmentally friendly tourism experiences;
• Cleaning - removing building demolition and legacy waste from island resorts.
