DEAS 1047:2021 Air quality — Vehicular exhaust emission limits: This draft Standard specifies permissible limits for common pollutants found in exhaust emissions of motor vehicles, namely carbon monoxide, particulate matter (PM), oxides of nitrogen (NOX), and hydrocarbons. The standard covers emission all types of vehicles namely, passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, motorcycles and motor tricycles as given in Annex A. This standard covers only vehicle with internal combustion Engines.

DKS 2227:2021 Petroleum and petroleum products —Automotive biodiesel fuel — Specification: This Draft Kenya Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for marketed and delivered fatty acid methyl esters (FAME)/ biodiesel to be used either as automotive fuel for diesel engines at 100% concentration, or as an extender for automotive fuel for diesel engines. DKS 2953:2021 Petroleum and petroleum products — Automotive B5 Biodiesel Fuel — Specification: This Kenya Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for automotive B5 biodiesel fuel. This standard is applicable to automotive biodiesel at 5 % biodiesel and 95 % petroleum diesel concentration blend. For use in diesel engine vehicles designed or subsequently adapted to run on 5 % biodiesel and 95 % petroleum diesel concentration.

Draft of Partial Amendment to Enforcement Regulation of the Prevention of Pollution from Ships: The amendment is designed to newly establish Paragraph 2 under Article 5 (Harmful Antifouling Agents) additionally designating diuron or diuron-included antifoulants as harmful antifouling agents.
The Republic of Korea takes a regulatory measure to put diuron or diuron-included antifoulants on the list of harmful antifouling agents to join a global attempt to forbid the use of the substance as an antifoulant out of its potential risk to the environment. The measure would help sea water to be pollution-free
