(...) Applicants in all competition strands are required to define their proposal as either achieving an energy efficiency or decarbonisation outcome. The scheme is available to bus operators, bus manufacturers, local authorities in Scotland, and finance companies (fleet companies) to acquire buses, which would be operated on passenger transport routes registered with the Traffic Commissioner for Scotland.

Agriculture, Food and Industry: Northern Ireland: Agricultural Industry Training Scheme (2021 23): The scheme aims to support the delivery of training for the agriculture sector, provided through the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). The training support provided enables farmers and farm workers to be aware of the emerging issues in agriculture and thereby contribute to the productivity, environmental sustainability, resilience and the efficient operation of the supply chain in the agriculture sector. These courses are offered free of charge to participants.
The subsidy is provided to CAFRE who use the financial assistance to deliver a range of education and technology transfer and innovation programmes for those working in the NI agri food industry. The subsidy covers the costs associated with delivering these courses which are CAFRE staff costs.
