Biofertilizers , known as microbial products, act as nutrient suppliers and soil conditioners that lower agricultural burden and conserve the environment. Good soil condition is imperative to increased crop production, as well as human and/or animal health welfare. Thus, the materials used to sustain good soil condition, are treated as environmental matters. However, there are still some problems to be met on the use of microbial products. More precise quality control must be made in favour of the customers. With this in mind, we will do our best to develop better production techniques and to improve the management system for microbial products.

Although the effects of biofertilizers are different among nations due to variances in climate and soil conditions, the importance of biofertilizers on environmental conservation in the 21st century must not be ignored. In the same manner, various biotechnologies should be accepted for increasing the biofertilizers effects with concern for the environment.

This Draft Rwanda Standard specifies the requirements for integral, close-coupled and split domestic storage solar water heating systems and includes specific requirements for solar collectors for solar water heating systems. It is not applicable to solar water heating systems for swimming pools or to industrial and commercial solar water heating systems, or instantaneous type domestic solar water heating systems.

To comply with the provisions of Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as, the "Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018", there is a need to amend the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Circular No. 2020-033 or the "Procedure for the Use of the Modified Electronic Registration System for Raw Materials and Prepackaged Processed Food Products", to include process steps for the correction of Certificate of Product Registration (CPR), additional guidelines in accomplishing online application form, to include the requirements stipulated in FC No. 2021-028, and express repeal of relevant FDA issuances for this purpose.

Draft Department Circular No.: ___________ Expanding the Coverage of the Philippine Energy Labeling Program (PELP), to include additional ECPs, For Compliance of Importers, Manufacturers, Distributors and Dealers of Energy Consuming Products (ECPs): The draft circular aims to amend some sections of the PELP Guidelines (DC2020-06-0015) and to cover additional energy consuming products under the program.

The Department Circular prescribes the adoption of the following guidelines to effectively implement to the Philippine National Standard Specification of Biofuels (PNS) for Coconut Methyl Ester:
1. Only Coconut Methyl Ester conforming to the PNS/DOE QS 002:2021 shall be manufactured, sold, offered for sale, dispensed, or introduced into commerce in the Philippines.
2. It shall be the responsibility if the Accredited Biodiesel Producer to ensure that all coconut Methyl Ester deliveries are accompanied by a Certificate of Quality to be issued by same, indicating full PNS compliance o the delivered Coconut Methyl Ester.

Draft Supreme Decree amending the Regulations implementing Law No. 27757 prohibiting the importation of used goods, machinery and equipment that use radioactive sources: The notified draft text amends Annexes 2 and 3 and Article 8 and incorporates Annex 4 into the current Regulation approved pursuant to Supreme Decree No. 001-2004-EM.

Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) No. 97.01.81:22: Electrical products. Household refrigerators and freezers. Energy efficiency specifications: The notified Regulation establishes the maximum energy consumption levels, test method, conformity assessment procedure and labelling for household refrigerators and freezers operated using hermetic motor-driven compressors, which are manufactured or marketed in, or imported into, the States Parties. It applies to household refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers of up to 1,104 litres (39 cubic feet) and household freezers of up to 850 litres (30 cubic feet) operated using hermetic motor-driven compressors, which are manufactured or marketed in, or imported into, the States Parties.

Proposed measures to reduce the environmental impact of fluorinated gases consultation document: The attached consultation document outlines New Zealand's proposals to reduce emissions from Fluorinated gases and refrigerants. This includes proposals for a mandatory product stewardship scheme for refrigerants, and stepped prohibitions on both the import and sale of goods containing hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants (referred to as pre-charged equipment). A proposed prohibition on the import and sale of pre‐charged equipment would ensure that the use of refrigerants with high global warming potentials (GWPs) would not continue once alternatives are available, while a phased approach would also avoid the need to immediately transition to lower‐GWP alternatives and address the financial burden associated with transitioning equipment. These proposed prohibitions would work by imposing a GWP limit on specific classes of goods after specific dates. After these dates, the described goods would not be able to be imported or sold if they contained a HFC refrigerant with a GWP at or above the specified level. The current proposed timeline would impose prohibitions in three tranches: 1 January 2025, 1 January 2028, and 1 January 2032. (...)

Cabinet Paper - Sustainable Biofuels Obligation: Final policy design: The Sustainable Biofuels Obligation will require importers and domestic producers of liquid transport fuels to reduce the emissions intensity of their fuel supply by a set percentage each year through the deployment of biofuels. Biofuels used to meet the Obligation will be assessed using a lifecycle emissions analysis methodology to determine their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity. The obligation will apply to all transport fuels, excluding domestic aviation fuel. An aviation-based obligation will be developed over a longer timeframe. (...) Only biofuels that are determined to be sustainable will be eligible under the Obligation. Methodologies to determine the sustainability of biofuels will be set out in supporting regulations. This could include the use of existing sustainability certifications schemes such as the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Plus Standard. Regulations may also place limits or restrictions on the extent to which an obligated party may meet their obligation by means of a particular type of biofuel, particularly with respect to feedstocks, to address issues of indirect land use change.
