L.I. 2442 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency) (Prohibition of Manufacture, Importation and sale of Incandescent Filament Lamps) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these regulations is to a) promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country; and b) mitigate energy related climate change and contamination of water bodies by prohibiting the manufacture, importation and sale of incandescent filament lamps

L.I. 2441 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Refrigerating Appliances) Regulations:he purpose of this regulation is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One in the Second Schedule; ii. the labelling of electric mains-operated refrigerating appliances; iii. supplementary product information on electric mains-operated refrigerating appliances; and iv. the registration of models of refrigerating appliances in the Appliance Energy Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a refrigerating appliance that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2445 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Rice Cookers) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for I. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; II. the labelling of electric mains-operated rice cookers; III. supplementary product information on electric mains-operated rice cookers; and IV. the registration of models of rice cookers in the Appliance Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a rice cooker that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2444 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Industrial Fans) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; ii. the labelling of electric mains-operated industrial fans; iii. supplementary product information on electric mains-operated industrial fans; and
iv. the registration of models of industrial fans in the Appliance Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of an industrial fan that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2443 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Clothes Washing Machines) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; ii. the labelling of electric mains-operated clothes washing; iii. supplementary product information on electric mains-operated clothes washing machines; and iv. the registration of models of clothes washing machines in the Appliance Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a clothes washing machine that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2446 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Computers) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; ii. the labelling of electric mains-operated computers ; iii. supplementary product information on electric mains-operated computers; and iv. the registration of models of computers in the Appliance Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a computer that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2449 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Solar Panels) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i. the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum efficiency standards set out in Second Schedule; ii. the labelling of solar panels; iii. supplementary product information on solar panels; and iv. the registration of models of solar panels in the Renewable Energy Product Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a solar panel that does not meet the minimum efficiency standards set out in the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2452 - Renewable Energy (Standards and Labelling) (Renewable Energy Batteries) Regulations, 2022: he purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use of renewable energy batteries in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i) the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum efficiency standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; ii) the labelling of renewable energy batteries ; iii) supplementary product information on renewable energy batteries; and iv) the registration of models of renewable energy batteries in the Renewable Energy Product Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a renewable energy battery that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2453 - Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Public Lighting) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i) the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule; ii) the labelling of electric mains-operated lamps and luminaires ; iii) supplementary product information on electric mains-operated lamps and luminaires; and iv) the registration of models of lamps and luminaires in the Appliance Efficiency Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a lamp and luminarie that does not meet the minimum energy performance standards set out in Part One of the Second Schedule.

L.I. 2454 - Renewable Energy (Standards and Labelling) (Improved Biomass Cookstoves) Regulations, 2022: The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use of improved biomass cookstoves in the country and mitigate related climate change by: a) providing for i) the enforcement of standards set out in the First Schedule and the minimum performance requirements set out in the Second Schedule; ii) the labelling of improved biomass cookstoves ; iii) supplementary product information on improved biomass cookstoves; and iv) the registration of models of improved biomass cookstoves in the Renewable Energy Product Register; and b) prohibiting the manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of an improved biomass cookstove that does not meet the minimum performance requirements set out in the Second Schedule.
