Draft Ministerial Regulation on Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) of vehicles of category L (TIS 2952-2561(2018)): The draft Ministerial Regulation mandates the Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) of vehicles of category L to conform with the standard for vehicle of category L with regard to specific requirements for the electric power train (TIS 2952-2561(2018)) . This standard covers safety requirements with respect to the Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) of vehicles of category L with a maximum design speed exceeding 6 km/h, equipped with one or more traction motors operated by electric power and not permanently connected to the grid. This standard does not cover lead-acid REESS(s) and REESS(s) whose primary use is to supply power for starting the engine and/or lighting and/or other vehicle auxiliaries systems.

This standard covers safety requirements with respect to the Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) of vehicles of categories M and N, equipped with one or more traction motor(s) operated by electric power and not permanently connected to the grid. The proposed scheme applies to both imported products and domestically manufactured products. In addition to the scheme, the proposed technical regulations also specify the requirements of labelling and inspection, the conformity assessment procedures and the way to conduct post-market surveillance. This standard applies to packaged coatings including decorative and architectural coatings, untinted bases, primers intended for use on interior and exterior surfaces and coatings tinted at the point of sale. This standard is applicable to liquid and aerosol coatings including emulsion, latex, water-soluble, water-dispersible or colloidal coatings, coatings with alkyd and modified alkyd resins and textured coatings. This standard does not apply to stains, varnishes, putties, glazing compounds, lacquers, and industrial protective coatings.
