Exceptional adjustment aid to producers in the agricultural sectors under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/467 of 23 March 2022: The measures are taken in relation to the impact on farmers of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and contribute to food security, overcoming market imbalances and support farmers who are involved in at least one of the following: a) circular economy; b) nutrient management; c) the efficient use of resources; d) ecological and climate friendly production methods.

Measure description Coverage of the measure
Exceptional adjustment aid to producers in the agricultural sectors under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/467 of 23 March 2022: The measures are taken in relation to the impact on farmers of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and contribute to food security, overcoming market imbalances and support farmers who are involved in at least one of the following: a) circular economy; b) nutrient management; c) the efficient use of resources; d) ecological and climate friendly production methods.
Funding is available for farmers in the following sectors: pig farming, poultry farming, viticulture and greenhouse production of vegetables.

Imports to Antarctica: Under the Antarctic Treaty (Environment Protection) Act 1980 (Antarctic Treaty Act) as amended, and in line with the requirements of the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty (the Madrid Protocol), persons are not permitted to import certain items into Antarctica. This legislation applies to Australian nationals for all areas south of 60° south and for foreign nationals to the Australian Antarctic Territory only.
