This document specifies a test method for the determination of the resistance of fire dampers to heat, and for the evaluation of their ability to prevent fire and smoke spreading from one fire compartment to another through an air distribution system. It is applicable to mechanical fire dampers. It is not intended to be used for dampers used only in smoke control systems, for testing fire protection devices which only deal with air transfer applications, or for dampers used in suspended ceilings, as the installation of the damper and duct can have an adverse effect on the performance of the suspended ceiling, requiring other methods of evaluation. This part of ISO 14520 specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, installation, testing, maintenance and safety of gaseous fire fighting systems in buildings, plants or other structures, and the characteristics of the various extinguishants and types of fire for which they are a suitable extinguishing medium. It covers total flooding systems primarily related to buildings, plants and other specific applications, utilizing electrically non-conducting gaseous fire extinguishants that do not leave a residue after discharge and for which there are sufficient data currently available to enable validation of performance and safety characteristics by an appropriate independent authority. Enforcement of Excise Digital Tax stamp for Other Tobacco Products (OTP) in Kingdom of Bahrain: "Other Tobacco Products (OTP)" are other excisable mentioned in Chapter Twenty-four of Section Four of the Unified Customs Tariffe for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States Imported to Kingdom of Bahrain must have the digital stamps placed in the packaging, without prejudice to the decisions related to Cigarettes and Almeassel Tobacco.

Technical Regulation on energy labelling and minimum energy performance requirements for Air- Conditioners: The current technical regulation (TR) of low-capacity air conditioners (ACs) has been updated, according to the following:
- Scope of the current technical regulation for low-capacity ACs was changed to cover ACs below 65000 btu.h
- Minimum temperature allowed will be restricted to 20 Celsius degrees.
- Minimum Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) for split ACs will be 8.3 on T3 conditions
- All values on the new label will be represented according to T3 testing conditions
- More modifications are shown in the EER values, shown in the attached updated TR.

Enforcement of Excise Digital Tax stamp for almeassel tobacco in Kingdom of Bahrain: All almeassel tobacco products Imported to Kingdom of Bahrain must have the digital stamps placed in the packaging.

The purpose of this Ministerial Order is to ban single-use plastic bags with thickness less than 35 microns in the Bahraini market, with exempting bags used for medical purposes and bags manufactured to be exported from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
