Phytosanitary requirements to prevent the introduction and establishment of plants regulated as pests in Canada.

Pest risk analysis was conducted on the above pest plant species and it was determined that it poses a significant risk to Canada's plant resource base. Based on this analysis, the CFIA is proposing to regulate this species as quarantine pests under the Plant Protection Act.
