The draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On approval of the Technical regulation on Ecodesign Requirements for Ventilation Systems": The Technical regulation sets ecodesign requirements for ventilation systems put into circulation or operation.

Also Technical Regulation establishes transitional periods for businesses, namely only in 2 (two) and 4 (four) years from the date of entry into force of this Technical Regulation requirements for ecodesign (requirements for energy efficiency, functional characteristics, product information) will apply.

Also, the Technical Regulation establishes transition periods for enterprises, namely only in 1 (one) year, 3 (three) years and 4 (four) years from the date of entry into force of this Technical Regulation the requirements for ecodesign (requirements for energy efficiency, functional characteristics, product information) will apply.

The draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Section XI "Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On Basic Principles and Requirements for Organic Production, Circulation and Labeling of Organic Products": Amendments to the draft Law provide for:

- temporarily, until January 1, 2024, to allow business entities to sell agricultural products as organic and use the inscription "organic product" in product names and trademarks, as well as the designation and inscriptions "organic", "biodynamic", "biological" organic", "ecological", "organic" and/or any homonyms and/or derivatives of these words with prefixes "bio", "eco", if they have a valid certificate issued by a foreign certification body;

- temporarily, until January 1, 2022, to recognize these business entities as producers of organic agricultural products for the purposes of the Law of Ukraine "On State Support of Agriculture of Ukraine".

Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Approval of the Technical Regulation on Ecodesign Requirements for Air Heating Products, Cooling Products, High Temperature process chillers and fan coil units": The Technical regulation sets out the ecodesign requirements for heaters, coolers, high temperature process chillers and fan coil units.

Draft Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine "On approval of State sanitary-hygienic rules and norms of the waste hazard's class definition": State sanitary and hygienic rules and norms of the waste hazard's class definition regulates the criteria for classifying waste as hazardous and defining mixtures as acutely toxic, according to the international classification of hazardous waste.

The draft Law of Ukraine "On hop and hop products": The draft Law aims to promote effective development of the hop industry, bring national hop production to modern quality level, and simplify business management by improving existing legal norms regulating relations in the sphere of hop growing.

The draft Law applies to economic entities whose activities include growing, processing, storage, distribution, export and import of hop products.

The adoption of the draft Law will improve implementation of international environmental practices; certification, packaging and labeling of hop products in line with EU requirements; state control in the sphere of hop growing and hop production; simplification of entrepreneurship and deregulation in the sphere of hop growing.

Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On approval of the Technical Regulation on ecodesign requirements for solid fuel local space heaters": Draft of Technical Regulation establishes ecodesign requirements for the placing on the market and putting into service of solid fuel local space heaters with a nominal heat input of 50 kW or less

Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Approval of the Order of labelling of biodegradable plastic bags and amending the list of products, for which the state market surveillance is performed": The main purpose of the Order is to ensure the establishment of certain obligations of economic entities, in particular:
For producers of biodegradable plastic bags: ensuring compliance with established standards for recycling by composting or biodegradable; testing of the typical variety of assortment of biodegradable plastic bags; proper maintenance of technical information.
For importers of biodegradable plastic bags: carrying out recycling of biodegradable plastic bags that meet the established standards for recycling by composting or biodegradation that are marked.
For distributors of biodegradable plastic bags: checking the availability of labels on biodegradable plastic bags that meet established standards for recycling by composting or biodegradation.

The Law of Ukraine "On the limitation of the circulation of plastic bags on the territory of Ukraine": Definition of legal and organizational conditions for the circulation and distribution of plastic bags on the territory of Ukraine, as well as encouraging the development of the production of biodegradable plastic bags that will enable Ukrainian manufacturers to follow global European and world trends in environmental protection.
