DRS 211-2: 2010, Mortar for masonry — Test methods — Part 2: Bulk sampling of mortars and preparation of test mortars: This Draft Rwanda Standard provides methods for taking a bulk sample of fresh mortar, and the preparation of a bulk test sample from this. It also provides a procedure for producing test mortars from dry constituents and water.

DRS 211-6: 2021, Mortar for masonry — Test methods — Part 6: Determination of adhesive strength of hardened rendering and plastering mortars on substrates: This Draft Rwanda Standard provides a method for the determination of the adhesive strength between rendering plastering mortars and a substrate.

DRS 211-7: 2010, Mortar for masonry — Test methods — Part 7: Determination of water absorption coefficient due to capillary action of hardened mortar: This Draft Rwanda Standard provides a method for determining the water absorption coefficient due to capillary action of hardened mortars containing mineral binders and normal as well as light weight aggregates.

DRS 484: 2021, Adobe blocks (Rukarakara) — Specification: This Draft Rwanda Standard provides the requirements, sampling and test methods for adobe blocks, also known as "Rukarakara" for interior and exterior use in masonry walling. The use of adobe blocks specified in this Draft Rwanda Standard applies to all buildings in category two (2) as provided in the Ministerial Order governing the categorization of buildings. Construction with adobe blocks is regulated by the Rwanda Building Code and other related regulations.
