Aquaculture, Fishing and Fisheries: Scottish Government: Marine Fund Scotland (MFS): The objective of Marine Fund Scotland (MFS) is to support projects that deliver outcomes relating to Scotland's Blue Economy Vision. Scotland's Blue Economy Vision is that, by 2045, Scotland's shared stewardship of the UK's marine environment supports ecosystem health, improved livelihoods, economic prosperity, social inclusion and wellbeing. The specific purposes for which support may be offered through the Marine Fund Scotland are: a. the conservation, enhancement or restoration of the marine and aquatic environment; including the conservation, enhancement or restoration of the natural beauty or amenity of marine or coastal areas, or of inland waters or waterside areas; (...)

Fisheries Development Loan Fund: (a) To provide one-off loans for owners of trawlers and fish collectors affected by the trawl ban to, without increasing the overall fishing efforts, upgrade their vessels to standards required for their continued operational needs, switch to more sustainable fisheries operations and other fisheries-related operations, or carry out projects that will reduce fuel consumption or the carbon footprint of their operations; (b) to provide loans for capture fishermen and owners of fish collectors to, without increasing the overall fishing efforts, switch to more sustainable fisheries operations and other fisheries-related operations, or carry out projects that will reduce fuel consumption or the carbon footprint of their operations; and (c) to provide loans that help fish farmers develop aquaculture, or improve their aquaculture businesses leading to more environmentally friendly operations

Fish Marketing Organization Loan Fund: Without increasing the overall fishing efforts, to provide loans for fishermen to meet their operational and sustainable development needs

4.1.1 Recycled Scrap:. With regard to the importation of recycled scrap, the importer firstly requests the import recommendation letter to the Environmental Conservation Department (ECD). After receiving the approval of import recommendation letter, the importer or applicant shall apply the import license to the Department of Trade under the Ministry of Commerce. The approval system is complied with the International Agreements in order to control the trans-boundary movement of hazardous waste and other waste and avoid the environmental pollution and human health form waste.

Sustainable Fisheries Development Fund: To fund programmes, projects and research that would contribute to fostering the sustainable development of the fisheries industry and bring benefits to the operations of the local fisheries community as a whole. Projects that may benefit from the Fund include those that provide (...) assistance for local fishermen and aquaculturists to modernise their operations and monitoring and assessment of the effectiveness of the sustainable fisheries management measures implemented in Hong Kong.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency program: Grants are given for the costs of preliminary planning of energy efficiency project, expenses for the purchase and installation of equipment and machinery, and technologies required to upgrade or replace existing technologies. 4.1.2 Ozone Depleting Substances: Any person or organization who has a registration certificate/card for the business relating to ozone depleting substances or designed product for use of ozone depleting substances shall apply the import endorsement, which is a kind of import recommendation letter, to the Environmental Conservation Department. After receiving the approval of import endorsement, the applicant shall continue to apply the import license at the Ministry of Commerce.

4.2.1 Endangered wild animal and wild plant: For importation of wild fauna and flora species, the Forest Department (FD) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MONREC) endorses the CITES permit for CITES-listed species and the Letter of Support (LoS) for Non-CITES listed species. After receiving the approval, the applicant shall continue to apply for the import license at the Department of Trade under the Ministry of Commerce.
