Additional funding is available to English LAs to provide the resource and capability to support EV chargepoint delivery.
The grant is provided to local authorities in England. In 2022, GBP 10 million was awarded to nine authorities under an initial pilot programme.

Environment, Fuel and Transport: England: On Street Residential Chargepoints Scheme (ORCS): is a grant scheme available to local authorities (LAs) in all areas of the UK to fund part of the capital costs of installing slow and fast public electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints. The purpose of the scheme is to increase the availability of on street chargepoints in residential streets where off street parking is not available, thereby ensuring that on street parking is not a barrier to realising the benefits of owning an EV.

Environment, Fuel and Transport: England: On Street Residential Chargepoints Scheme (ORCS): is a grant scheme available to local authorities (LAs) in all areas of the UK to fund part of the capital costs of installing slow and fast public electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints. The purpose of the scheme is to increase the availability of on street chargepoints in residential streets where off street parking is not available, thereby ensuring that on street parking is not a barrier to realising the benefits of owning an EV.
The grant is provided to local authorities. The scheme funding for up to 75% of the capital costs of installing charging infrastructure, capped at GBP 7,500 per chargepoint, on average. This was subsequently reduced to 60% in FY 2022/23.

The primary objective of the Nature for Climate Fund (NCF) programme is to increase tree planting and peatland restoration and in England to tackle the global crises of climate change and biodiversity loss in the terrestrial environment. The programme, delivered through a number of different workstreams, will also deliver a wide range of additional environmental, social and economic benefits.
Grants are provided to landowners for tree planting and peatland restoration. Applications are made by the landowner to the relevant delivery partner for assessment against given criteria for the specific scheme.

Key plastic packaging materials in scope of the scheme were: plastic trays, pots and tubs, in particular those made from PET; plastic films and pouches; and the recycling of plastic packaging into food grade and pharmaceutical packaging applications.
The grants were awarded to plastics recycling companies following an open competitive process. Interested parties were invited to submit an Expression of Interest setting out outline proposals, which were considered against a set of published criteria. The focus was on projects providing new infrastructure and technologies to help significantly increase recycling capacity and capability for currently difficult to recycle plastic packaging, such as plastic films and pouches.

This fund aimed to encourage innovation and enhance recycling/reuse of used textiles, as well as provide an opportunity to support the sector during covid 19 while also encouraging a longer term shift towards more sustainable practices.
The Textiles Recycling and Re use Grant was open to commercial and not for profit organisations of any size in England. Grants were awarded through a 2 stage competitive process. Recipients of the funding were expected to contribute to the delivery of up to 13,970 tonnes of waste textiles diverted from landfill and 20,068 CO2 emissions avoided, which each award having a specific target. Successful applicants were not required to provide any match funding. In total, 5 companies received awards under the Scheme.
