Recognising the importance of green finance as a new asset class, the SC through the ACMF took a leadership position in driving the agenda in the ASEAN region, beginning with its efforts to develop ASEAN Green Bond Standards (GBS). In March 2017, an announcement on the cooperation between ACMF and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) was made to introduce ASEAN GBS that will be applied across capital markets in ASEAN. This initiative will facilitate ASEAN capital markets in tapping green finance to support sustainable regional growth and as an avenue to meet investors who are interested in green investments. It is also a part of ACMF’s broader efforts in developing green finance for the region.

During the period under review, the objective of Mexico's trade policy has been to strengthen and revitalize its export platform to ensure greater diversification of markets and products sold abroad, improve the competitiveness of its production sector, and speed up its integration in global production chains in keeping with its commitment as a strong advocate of green global markets, as well as to provide consumers with a wider range of better options. To achieve this objective, the Government of Mexico has pursued five strategic agendas.

The programme concerning free movement for persons and the right of establishment (programme 29) is intended to make free movement for persons, goods and capital effective by introducing the Community biometric passport. In order to ensure integrated freedom of movement within CEMAC, it is planned to apply free movement for persons in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea progressively as follows:
. the application of the legal instruments on free movement already adopted and introduced;

3.21. The HKC-Georgia FTA was signed on 28 June 2018 and will enter into force after the completion of the necessary internal procedures by both parties.
The FTA is comprehensive in scope, encompassing trade in goods and related issues, trade in services, investment (establishment), dispute settlement mechanism, and also contains provisions to ensure effective protection of intellectual property rights, promote competition, and enhance protection of environment.

In 2009, the Administration actively engaged its trading partners to address illegal logging and associated trade and to identify the potential for a positive agenda in areas where international trade policy and efforts to address global climate change overlap

In July 2013, the President issued an Executive Order on Combating Wildlife Trafficking in order to enhance U.S. Government efforts to combat wildlife trafficking. The Executive Order established a Presidential Task Force to develop and implement a National Strategy for combating wildlife trafficking. The National Strategy was issued in February 2014, and establishes three strategic priorities: (1) strengthening the enforcement of laws and the implementation of international agreements protecting wildlife; (2) reducing the demand for illegal wildlife and related products; and (3) working cooperatively with other governments, the private sector, and civil society to enhance global commitment to combat wildlife trafficking. The National Strategy provides that the United States will engage with existing and future free trade agreement partners to take measures to combat wildlife trafficking and to make wildlife trafficking a priority topic for cooperation and capacity building.
