To advance its Disaster Risk Management (DRM) agenda, Samoa is prioritizing country and regional level initiatives to strengthen resilience to climate change; and increasing the resilience of infrastructure to natural hazards and climate change.

Suriname's market improvements and its strategy for the strengthening and diversification of its industrial base are to be concentrated on production clusters and priority sectors. These clusters are identified based on their potential for GDP growth, employment creation, regional spread, sustainability, international growth and knowledge development, food safety, or environmental impact.

The Social Action and Economic Revival Plan, better known as "¡Vamos Guatemala!" is based on five lines of action aimed at, inter alia, creating a favourable investment climate that respects the environment.

In order to counter the effects of climate change, the Government has prepared a long-term Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, aimed at sustainable delta management, integrated water resources management and disaster management

The Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the EU and 15 Caribbean States in the CARIFORUM group, including Antigua and Barbuda, was signed in 2008. (…) The agreement also covers trade in services, public procurement, intellectual property rights, and environmental protection.

Efforts were made to lower existing entry barriers such as location and environment-related regulations so as to facilitate the easy and swift establishment of start-ups. The Government is also addressing areas where a lack of appropriate guidelines results in delays in product launches, another challenge for foreign investors.

(...) In June 2014, Georgia signed the Association Agreement with the European Union, reaching an important milestone under the EU Eastern Partnership programme. The Agreement marks years of cooperation between Tbilisi and Brussels under the Eastern Partnership program. It envisages the gradual improvements needed in areas such as trade, environment, agriculture, tourism, energy, transport, and education to bring Georgia in line with EU standards. (...)

KAFTA (Korea-Australia Free Trade Agreement) gives Australian exporters significantly improved market access in goods and services and improves bilateral investment protections. (...) The Agreement includes an investor-state dispute settlement mechanism, which incorporates safeguards in policy areas such as public health and environmental measures.

The Government's economic policies above are complimented by the ongoing work of the National Reform Council (NRC), who, under the Interim Constitution Sections 27-31, has undertaken reform tasks in 11 areas: politics, public administration, law and justice, local administration, education, economy, energy, public health and environment, media, society, and others.
