At the Sixth ACMECS (Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy) Summit in Myanmar in June 2015, the leaders of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam, agreed in promoting different matters, such as to promote foreign direct investment, to expedite the implementation of ACMECS rice cooperation mechanism to promote rice sector development among ACMECS countries, to encourage the establishment of industrial zones, Special and Specific Economic Zones along the ACMECS countries borders and other potential areas, to promote cross border travel with the ACMECS countries under the concept of "Five Countries, One Destination", and to enhance cooperation between ACMECS countries on environmental conservation and sustainable use of natural resources of the Ayeyawaddy, Chao Phraya and Mekong Rivers.

Situated at the heart of Europe, Switzerland has naturally over the years developed close economic relations with the members of the European Union (EU). In addition to the 1972 Free Trade Agreement, Switzerland has signed Bilateral Agreements I and II with the EU 3 , which cover a large number of areas, namely, free movement of persons, air and land transport, agriculture and processed agricultural products, training and research, technical barriers to trade, government procurement, cooperation in matters relating to justice, the police, asylum and migration (Schengen/Dublin), taxation of savings, action to combat fraud, the environment , statistics, participation in the MEDIA programme and pensions.

Turning to intellectual property, in accordance with the Constitution, Bolivia does not support any proposal in the multilateral arena that moves toward the patentability of life; Bolivia is also of the view that international agreements related to that topic should be in harmony with nature, safeguard biodiversity and prohibit forms of private appropriation for the exclusive use and exploitation of plants, animals, micro organisms and any living matter. To that end, in the period under review Bolivia submitted two communications to revise Article 27.3(b) of the Agreement on Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS).
