Draft Commission Implementing Decision determining whether the product Sadolin Husrens containing Alkyl (C12-16) dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride is a biocidal product, pursuant to Article 3(3) of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council: This draft Commission Implementing Decision states that the product Sadolin Husrens, containing the active substance Alkyl (C12-16) dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride in a concentration of 2,4%, shall be considered a biocidal product within the meaning of Article 3(1), point (a), of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 and shall fall within product-type 2 as defined in Annex V to that Regulation.

Commission Implementing Regulation establishing, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the list of third countries and the list of control authorities and control bodies that have been recognised under Article 33(2) and (3) of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 for the purpose of importing organic products into the Union: his act lays down the list of third countries as well as control authorities and control bodies already recognised for the purpose of equivalence under Article 33(2) and 33(3) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 in order for them to be able to continue their activities of certification and control for the purpose of equivalence during their respective transition periods established according to Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
In addition, this Act also contains a number of requests for scope extension from already recognised control bodies, few requests for recognition from new control bodies as well as the withdrawals of several control bodies. |

Draft Commission Implementing Regulation amending Implementing Regulations (EU) No 2015/1295 and No 540/2011 as regards the conditions of approval of the active substance sulfoxaflor: This draft Commission Implementing Regulation provides that the approval conditions of the active substance sulfoxaflor are amended in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 based on the evaluation of confirmatory data as required in Regulation (EU) 2015/1295 of 27 July 2015 approving the active substance sulfoxaflor for use in the EU. Existing authorised plant protection products containing sulfoxaflor will be reviewed in accordance with the restriction set in this act.
This decision however only concerns the placing on the market of this substance. Following restriction of the approval and the consequent expiry of all grace periods for stocks of products, separate legal action will likely be taken on Maximum Residue Levels and a separate notification will be made in accordance with SPS procedures in due time. |
