Measures implemented to strengthen and develop the clothing industry. The objectives are both general and specific.
General objectives: (A) Ensure the sector's sustainability, (B) Improve quality and working conditions.

CHAPTER IV
SUBSIDY
Specific objectives: (A) Improve the model of production and increase the sector's productivity, (B) Establish sources of employment requiring skilled labour and reduce precarious employment.
Specifically promoted projects, with a minimum level of own co-financing shall include activities which lead to the award of certifications of the kind referred to above and to improvements in environmental, health and safety conditions at work.

Subsidy for the clothing industry. The programme works with:
(i) enterprises: it awards them a subsidy based on the wage bill declared to the Social Security Bank (BPS);

(iii) enterprises seeking to become stronger: it co-finances projects with them.
