Since 2006, Togo has had a Framework Law on the environment, as well as provisions under which new investments must be the subject of an environmental impact study, while the Investment Code requires an environmental compliance certificate as a prerequisite for approval

The Plant Varieties Protection Act B.E. 2542 (1999), which entered into force in December 1999, defines plant varieties eligible for protection and says that genetically modified varieties may only be registered after they are officially appraised as safe for the environment, health, and public welfare

Under the Statute for Upgrading Industries (SUI), until end 2009 tax incentives for investment in Chinese Taipei included accelerated depreciation for certain equipment and facilities, such as those used for energy conservation or for environmental protection and deduction from income tax of a certain amount of investment from profit-seeking enterprises for certain equipment or technology (e.g. related to protection of the environment)

Together with economic policy, of which it forms part, the long-term objectives of Morocco's trade policy are poverty reduction and sustainable human development.

(…) Import quotas are applied to hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs); the quota is determined annually according to the requirements of the Montreal Protocol. Part of the quota (normal quotas) is allocated to registered importers based on their performance in the past year; the remainder (free quotas) is allocated on a first-come first-served basis. A common ceiling amount of quota is assigned to each importer applying for free quota; the ceiling is subject to change and review in accordance with the market situation. Following the phase-out schedule in the Montreal Protocol, all imports of HCFCs will be banned in January 2020.

The United States continues to monitor implementation of the United States Singapore FTA, consulting regularly with Singapore. The two sides also continued to discuss trade in textiles and apparel, measures related to Singapore's imports of U.S. beef and pork, protection of intellectual property rights, concerns related to the geographical indications regime in the EU-Singapore FTA, cloud computing deployments in the financial services industry, requirements for pay television companies to cross carry content from competing providers, and continued environmental and labor cooperation efforts. In April 2013, the United States and Singapore met to discuss environmental cooperation and adopted a new Plan of Action for environmental cooperation for 2013-14.

About 3.2 million families so far have been provided with a home by the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program. Some 1.2 million will still benefit from it shortly, and possibly a few million more in the future. Brazil understands that social housing plays a central role in promoting sustainable urban development and economic development, in accordance with the principles emanating from the New Urban Agenda recently approved in Quito. The Brazilian Government is focusing its efforts on improving quality and expanding the number of homes offered, as well as increasing the efficiency of the system. In addition to the program's direct social gains, investments of US$100 billion since the beginning of Minha Casa, Minha Vida have had a significant impact on income generation and employment, acting as an important economic policy tool. Another recent Government initiative in the area of housing is the so-called Cartão Reforma, a program targeting the low-income population aimed at improving the quality of substandard housing.

Peru still bans the export of wild species; vicunas and guanacos and hybrids; skins and leather articles made from wild animals protected by the MAG; cedar and mahogany; maca in the natural state; specimens of camu camu berries (Myrciaria dubia); specimens of cats' claw (Uncaria tomentosa and Uncaria guianensis); pijuayo; some organic chemicals; works of art, copies and books over 100 years' old.
