A ban on selling concentrated pesticides and biocides to private individuals is introduced. In future, non-professionals may only use pesticides that are sold as ready-to-use or are low-risk agents. The amendment replaces a requirement that concentrated pesticides must be stored behind locks.

The current burner standards do not equitably target all household particulate matter emissions. They only apply to domestic woodburners used for space heating. Emissions from other uses of household burners and other types of fuel that contribute to particulate matter pollution are not controlled.We propose lowering the emissions standard for domestic burners to 1.0g/kg (from 1.5g/kg), and extending these regulations to include discharges from all types of domestic, solid-fuel burners newly installed in a building on properties less than two hectares in size. This would include wood, coal, multi-fuel and pellet burners, and would cover burners used for space heating, cooking, water heating and open fires.

The draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On approval of the Technical Regulation on the restriction of lead content in paints and varnishes and amendments to the list of state market surveillance authorities and their areas of responsibility".

The draft Technical Regulation is developed to reduce the level of lead in paints and varnishes, namely up to 90 ppm (i.e. 0.009%) in the dry coating film, to ensure the safety human health which corresponds to the best known standards applied in other countries.
