3.161. The Kyrgyz Republic has two main regimes for price controls: one that sets minimum import prices on certain goods from other EAEU member States (Section 3.1.1.3.1), and another that determines prices on goods, works, and services of natural monopolies in the domestic market. These price regulations may be introduced in exceptional circumstances, e.g. natural disasters and emergencies, provided they cannot be solved by other methods having less impact on the state of competition.
