3.27. In November 2022, the Government decided to prohibit exports of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste, scrap, and semi-finished ferrous and non-ferrous metal products[74] for six months (from 30 November 2022 to 30 May 2023), so as to "limit damage to infrastructure and the economy". On 15 June 2023, this export ban was extended for another six months. (...)
