The foundations of the NDP (National Development Plan) and the many layers that build upon them reflect both the process of inclusive growth and its outcome. They will highlight, align and systematize urgent action and long term reforms. The cornerstones will ensure sound, sustainable development, namely the wealth and assets that we must generate and bequeath to future generations. The superstructure reflects the vision of "Madagascar, a modern, prosperous nation" as expressed as follows by His Excellency the President of the Republic when he talked of: "Building a new Madagascar, a strong Madagascar, thereby bequeathing to future generations a united, prosperous, peaceful country that has become a world leader in developing and conserving its huge natural capital based on strong, inclusive growth for fair and sustainable development in all regions."
