General Services: Research: The National Agricultural and Forestry Innovation Institute (INIAF), is the national steering authority responsible for the National Agricultural and Forestry Innovation System (SNIAF), which coordinates and carries out research, extension services, technical assistance, the transfer of agricultural, aquaculture and forestry technology, the management of genetic resources for agrobiodiversity and seed certification services. (Supreme Decree No. 2454). In this field, work is under way, including general research on productive programmes. For example:

With a view to contributing to the consolidation of production systems for food security and sovereignty through the implementation of programmes and projects aimed at the households of small and medium-sized crop and livestock producers who are vulnerable to food insecurity, by ensuring supplies to local markets, the institute provides extension and advisory services, including:

General services: Other general services: The programme for the comprehensive strengthening of the camelid value chain in the Altiplano (Pro-Camélidos) aims to improve the living conditions of families connected to the camelid value chain and to increase livestock productivity, through the sustainable management of natural resources in the municipalities of La Paz, Oruro and Potosí.

Programme "Feed Brazil" ("Programa Alimenta Brasil")
Programme "Feed Brazil" replaces "Program of acquisition of agricultural products from family farming", which is being notified by Brazil in its DS:1 notifications, and continues to be based on the acquisition of agriculture products from family farming and other like beneficiaries who fall under the provisions of Law Nr 11,326/ 2006.
The products acquired by Programme "Feed Brazil" are intended to promote food security and nutritional actions and building stocks.
Programme "Feed Brazil" has the following goals:
 to encourage family farming and promote the economic and social inclusion of family farmers, fostering sustainable production, food processing and manufacturing and income generation; (...)
