Chief Executive's Decision No. 45/2022: In order to implement the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government has included 18 kinds of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) with high global warming potential (GWP) into the regulatory scope of Decree-Law No. 62/95/M through Chief Executive's Decision No. 45/2022, that is, HFCs and equipment containing HFCs will be included in the licensing regime. The relevant measures will enter into force on 1 April 2022, and the import or export of the goods concerned shall be subject to licensing requirements.
