Feed - in tariff:
A given operator of a plant fuelled by solid or liquid biomass or biogas is entitled to the purchase of all electricity he exports to the grid and to the payment of the tariff applicable on the date on which the contract is concluded, for 15 years starting on the date on which the green power is being sold to OeMAG. A given operator of any other renewable energy plant is entitled to the purchase of electricity exported and to the payment of the tariff applicable on the date on which the contract is concluded, for 13 years starting on the date on which the green power is being sold to OeMAG.
Investment grant:
The investment grant shall be paid as soon as the plant has been commissioned at its full capacity and the final report has been submitted and examined.

The described directive came on the 6th of July 2010 with the notification of the European commission (registration no X290/2010) into force.
Duration of the subsidy: The Austrian subsidy according to UFG 1993 should be ended with the end of 2013, but was extended until 30.06.2014. The regional funding for river restoration will end at the same time (30 June 2014).

Duration of the subsidy: The reimbursement as an environmental aid is in accordance with the Commission regulation (EC) No 800/2008 of 6 August 2008 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of Articles 87 and 88 of the Treaty (General block exemption Regulation). The approval of the amendment by the European Commission took place in the Official Journal of the European Union, No. C 288, from the 30 September 2011, p. 21.
The approval and the regulation (EC) No 800/2008 as union legal basis for the approval were limited to 31 December 2013. The scheme itself was exempted from the expiry date of the regulation (EC) No. 800/2008 during an adjustment period of six months (Art. 44, para. 3 regulation (EC) No. 800/2008) up to and including 30 June 2014.
The validity of the regulation (EC) No 800/2008 (General Block Exemption Regulation) was extended by the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1224/2013 of 29 November 2013 to 30 June 2014, whereby the adjustment period falling within the scope of the regulation (EC) No. 800/2008 restrictive rules in §§ 2 and 3 Energy Tax Rebate (Energieabgabenvergütung) were extended for another six months and were applicable to 31 December 2014.
(The remuneration is based on a request from the affected enterprise for a whole year in retrospect. The request can be placed not later than 5 years after the end of the mentioned calendar year.)
