9.22. The statutory rate applicable in Cameroon is 17.5%, plus a local tax equivalent to 10% of the VAT rate, bringing the effective applied VAT rate to 19.25%, above the range set out in the CEMAC Directive. The General Tax Code lists the goods (which may be imported or locally produced) that are exempt from VAT. (...).
