3.3.1 Fishery products and related products: An import license is required for the importation of fishery products and related products in order to protect harmful substances to ensure the food safely and against the epidemic diseases. Before apply for import license, the applicants firstly request the import recommendation letter from the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

3.3.1 Fishery products and related products: An import license is required for the importation of fishery products and related products in order to protect harmful substances to ensure the food safely and against the epidemic diseases. Before apply for import license, the applicants firstly request the import recommendation letter from the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

4.1.1 Recycled Scrap:. With regard to the importation of recycled scrap, the importer firstly requests the import recommendation letter to the Environmental Conservation Department (ECD). After receiving the approval of import recommendation letter, the importer or applicant shall apply the import license to the Department of Trade under the Ministry of Commerce. The approval system is complied with the International Agreements in order to control the trans-boundary movement of hazardous waste and other waste and avoid the environmental pollution and human health form waste.

To perform the duty of the Basel Convention in order to avoid the environmental pollution and harm to human health due to waste.

After receiving the approval of import recommendation letter, the importer or applicant shall apply the import license to the Department of Trade under the Ministry of Commerce. 4.1.2 Ozone Depleting Substances: Any person or organization who has a registration certificate/card for the business relating to ozone depleting substances or designed product for use of ozone depleting substances shall apply the import endorsement, which is a kind of import recommendation letter, to the Environmental Conservation Department. After receiving the approval of import endorsement, the applicant shall continue to apply the import license at the Ministry of Commerce.

The New Animal Health and Livestock Development Law was enacted recently on 26 August 2020 outlining more comprehensive and veterinary coverage in line with OIE Standard.

Animal Health and Livestock Development Law includes 16 chapters. The description of content relating to export and import is under Chapter 11. In this content, the department is responsible to take measures on additional products such genetically modified organisms, veterinary medicinal products and livestock equipment which have not been specifically mentioned in the former law.
