The Government, with the support of the private sector and donor partners, has launched five renewable projects, which are now in the completion stage. Another two are about to be built. In Luganville, hydropower generates up to 84% of power during the rainy season. The VUI provided micro-solar installations to over 155 off-grid households, and maintains these facilities at zero cost to the users.
