Scheme is open to application from across the catching, processing and aquaculture sectors. The scheme is available to applicants whose organisation and/or vessels are registered in England.

The scheme is open to owners of Northern Ireland registered fishing vessels, inland fishers, producer organisations, aquaculture and fish processing and marketing businesses and Northern Ireland Ports. Most Maritime and Fisheries Fund (NI) funding is only available to micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs). However, some funding can be granted to large aquaculture enterprises if their project relates to, and is engaged in, knowledge-sharing with SMEs.
