This standard prescribes the requirements of block bottom valve sacks made from PP woven laminated fabric for packaging, storage and distribution of 50 kg cement. These sacks have additional advantages of less environment pollution at the time of packing and transportation, reduced loss of cement during subsequent handling of sacks, resistant to ingress of moisture, pilferage proof packaging, better stackability and better aesthetics
