27. Non-automatic license for the import and export of hazardous waste
Hazardous waste means:(i) waste prescribed by any regulations made under this Act, where the waste has any of the characteristics mentioned in Annex III to the Basel Convention; or (ii) waste that belongs to any category contained in Annex I to the Basel Convention, unless it does not possess any of the characteristics in Annex III to that Convention.
