Environmental Aid: Aid Scheme for Solar Cells: The primary objective of the scheme is environmental protection. The aim is to create a market for solar cells systems in Sweden in order to contribute to the transition of the energy system and to industrial development in the field of energy techniques. The objective is to increase the number of suppliers and users of solar cells in Sweden, to contribute to decreased costs for the systems and to increase the annual electricity production from solar cells.

Measure description Coverage of the measure
Environmental Aid: Aid Scheme for Solar Cells: The primary objective of the scheme is environmental protection. The aim is to create a market for solar cells systems in Sweden in order to contribute to the transition of the energy system and to industrial development in the field of energy techniques. The objective is to increase the number of suppliers and users of solar cells in Sweden, to contribute to decreased costs for the systems and to increase the annual electricity production from solar cells.
Aid may be granted for installation of all types of solar cell systems which are connected to the grid, except for measures which have received other public aid (including aid from the EU) or tax reduction for labour costs.

Applicants compete based on the estimated greenhouse gas reduction compared to the money invested.

Sweden has neglected shortage maintenance in the housing stock and therefore want´s to encourage energy efficiency and renovation of rental housing in social-economic exposed areas by offering a financial incentive to property owners.
Property owners for the energy efficiency and renovation of rental housing in social-economic exposed areas. The grant consists of two parts. The property owner has to use the renovation-part of the grant for rental discounts in the renovated houses. The grant for energy efficiency is a direct financial grant to the property owner.
