Portugal (Madeira): PRODERAM2020 – Rural Development Programme (Regional) (...): The achievement of the objectives of rural development, which contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, shall be pursued through the following six Union priorities for rural development (...): (1)Fostering knowledge transfer and innovation in agriculture, forestry, and rural areas with a focus on the following areas: strengthening the links between agriculture, food production and forestry and research and innovation, including for the purpose of improved environmental management and performance (...); (2) Enhancing farm viability and competitiveness of all types of agriculture in all regions and promoting innovative farm technologies and the sustainable management of forests (...); (5) Promoting resource efficiency and supporting the shift towards a low carbon and climate resilient economy in agriculture, food and forestry sectors, with a focus on the following areas: increasing efficiency in water use by agriculture; increasing efficiency in energy use in agriculture and food processing; facilitating the supply and use of renewable sources of energy, of by products, wastes and residues and of other non-food raw material, for the purposes of the bio economy; reducing greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions from agriculture; fostering carbon conservation and sequestration in agriculture and forestry.

Garant Construct Programme: The Program has two components: a) the sub-program to support projects for SMEs in the construction sector; and b) the sub-program for supporting small-scale projects for territorial administrative units, which has projects that involve the financing of some activities in the construction sector.

The IMM Invest Plus State aid scheme: The measure provides aid in the form of direct grants (to cover interest on the contracted loans/credit lines for a maximum period of 12 months, and fees, namely the amount of the risk fee and management fee) and loan guarantees. GARANT CONSTRUCT component – Objective: aimed at supporting projects on energy efficiency improvement, green energy investments and alignment with environmental objectives implemented by SMEs and small enterprises with medium market capitalisation active in the construction sector and ATUs (...); INNOVATION Component – Objective: aimed at supporting enterprises (...) enhance the stimulation of online trade and digitisation, re-training of local enterprises, innovation patents on products, strategies, environment, digitisation, operating in the 'clean export industry.

Environmental Protection: The programs financed are the "Program on stimulating the renewal of the National Car Park", "Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transport by promoting energy-efficient road transport vehicles" as well as the RO-LA type transport Program to stimulate freight transport from road to the rail in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the road transport sector, all being multi annual programs.

Allocation for environment protection: within Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020 (LIOP), the investment domain aiming for environment protection and requiring subsidies, is the Energy sector, including production from renewable resources, distribution, smart metering and co generation. The Energy sector within LIOP 2014-2020 is financed under priority axis 6 Promoting clean energy efficiency to support a low carbon economy, with the following specific objectives: PA 6 - Specific Objective 6.1 - production Increasing production of energy from renewable resources less exploited (biomass, biogas, geothermal); PA 6 - Specific Objective 6.4 Increasing savings of the consumption of primary energy produced by high-efficiency; PA 8 – Specific Objective 8.1 Increasing the capacity of the national energy system to the takeover of energy produced from renewable resources.

State aid granted for waterway transport: Allocation for development of improving navigation conditions, developing port infrastructure and intermodal/multimodal local infrastructure – within Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014 2020 (LIOP). State aid granted for airports: Airport infrastructure sector within LIOP 2014-2020 is financed under Priority Axis 2 Development of a multimodal, quality, sustainable and efficient transport system, with the following specific objectives: Specific Objective 2.3: Increasing the sustainable use of airports.

Co-financed Programmes: Fruit and vegetables: support for operational programmes of fruit and vegetable producer organizations

Co-financed Programmes: Spain - National Rural Development Programme - Sub-measure 4.2. Tangible or intangible investments in the processing, marketing and development of agricultural products under the National Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 to improve the integration of agri-food associations acting at the national level.
