To support animal welfare organizations and animal shelters rescuing and helping abandoned, abused, mistreated and distressed animals in need for care; To support campaigns educating and informing the public and animal owners how to treat and take care of animals (not productions animals); To improve the well-being and health of animals in Denmark

To conserve and sustainably manage plant and native livestock genetic resources, including the native brown bee population. The genetic resources are of Danish origin or of value to Danish agriculture. This is among others to fulfil Danish obligations according to international agreements in the area (International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources). The Danish conservation work on native livestock is concentrated on breeds in risk of extinction, which are often kept by small-scale farmers.

To support reforestation after major windthrows on private lands in a way that secures robust forests for the future

To contribute to a high overall reduction of the discharge of pollutants, more specifically nitrogen, phosphorus and organic materials

To restructure the fishing fleet in order to reduce fuel dependency and achieve a better balance between the fisheries resources and their exploitation by reducing the fishing capacity

To encourage organic aquaculture production

To the implementation of technical measures for the conservation of fish stocks, access to training, aquaculture equipment, implementation of quality control systems, controls of sanitary conditions or impact on the environment

To encourage rehabilitation of inland waters, enhancement of environment in the framework of the Natura 2000 network and restocking based on a EU legal act

To support the sustainable development of fisheries areas

To improve habitat for flora and fauna in streams, including migratory species spawning grounds and migration routes, while enhancing the aquatic environment
