Measure description Coverage of the measure
Aid Scheme for Environmental Protection: The main objective of the Operational programme Environment 2014-2020 is to protect and ensure quality living environment for the population of the Czech Republic, to support resource efficiency, eliminate negative impacts of human activities on the environment and to mitigate climate change impacts.
All economic sectors eligible to receive aid via call for proposals.

Fisheries Programmes: Operational Programme Fisheries 2014-2020: Support of sustainable and competitive aquaculture building on innovations, competitiveness, knowledge and better resource efficiency. These objectives involve the development of sustainable fish breeding in the Czech Republic and ensuring balanced freshwater fish supplies to the domestic market providing the range desired and throughout the course of the year, including the development of non-production pond functions (landscape management, water retention, fishing tourism, etc.).

Measure description Coverage of the measure
Fisheries Programmes: Operational Programme Fisheries 2014-2020: Support of sustainable and competitive aquaculture building on innovations, competitiveness, knowledge and better resource efficiency. These objectives involve the development of sustainable fish breeding in the Czech Republic and ensuring balanced freshwater fish supplies to the domestic market providing the range desired and throughout the course of the year, including the development of non-production pond functions (landscape management, water retention, fishing tourism, etc.).
Subsidy is provided mainly to aquaculture producers and fish processors. Secondly is provided to state sector in the measures of common interest (data collection, traceability of fish products etc.). Support is based on real costs and varies between 50 to 100 %.

Fisheries Programmes: Operational Programme Fisheries 2021–2027: The main objective of the proposal for OP Fisheries is: competitive, resilient and sustainably developing aquaculture, which is also the main goal for the aquaculture sector defined in the Green Deal and in the follow-up strategy of the European Commission "Farm to fork". It is about ensuring sustainable aquaculture, using innovative and sustainable practices; support for projects focused on research and production of organic farming and algae or projects contributing to the improvement of animal welfare; support for the restoring of river eel and sustainable farming in ponds through compensations for the provision of non-productive functions; support for activities aimed at efficient use of resources or renewable resources.

Agriculture serving as an energy provider has a positive impact on green accounts. The government will ensure the best conditions for the further development of agriculture's role as an energy provider. With the initiatives presented in Green Growth concerning biogas and combustion of manure by 2020, the Government expects energy usage to have increased from 5% of farm yard manure in 2008 to 50% in 2020.

The government will ensure the best conditions for the further development of agriculture's role as an energy provider.
