It also defines the methodologies for analysing composition, quality parameters, contaminants and pollutants to ensure consistency in the results of analyses, irrespective of where they are carried out. |

Other phytosanitary requirements, such as that the shipment must be free of soil and plant remains, and requirements for packaging and its labelling or marking; 3. Seeds must comply with the requirements of Decree Law No. 1.764 of 1977, which sets standards for research, production and trade in seeds, and its Regulations, and with the regulations for the control of plant species considered to be weeds, in shipments of seeds of any species or origin entering the country; 4.
