Draft review of policy: Importation of Phytophthora ramorum host propagative material into Australia.

This draft review of policy was initiated as several new species of Phytophthora were identified that share similar host ranges, geographic ranges and symptoms to P. ramorum. This review therefore considers not only P. ramorum but also P. kernoviae, P. nemorosa and P. pseudosyringae.

Draft review of policy: Importation of Phytophthora ramorum host propagative material into Australia.

This draft review of policy was initiated as several new species of Phytophthora were identified that share similar host ranges, geographic ranges and symptoms to P. ramorum. This review therefore considers not only P. ramorum but also P. kernoviae, P. nemorosa and P. pseudosyringae.

The Biosecurity Bill 2014 along with supporting legislation received Royal Assent from Australia's Governor-General on 16 June 2015 and has now become the Biosecurity Act 2015.
