To establish criteria for categorizing fissile and other radioactive material so that nuclear security measures required during the transport of such material can be applied; Protection of human health or safety; Protection of the environment.
Measure description Coverage of the measure
The notified Mexican Official Standard applies to fissile and other radioactive material that is transported and to the transport units, packages, packagings and packs used when such material is transported by land or by water. It employs a graded approach, in which such material is categorized according to factors such as its half-life, physical and chemical form, degree of dilution, radiation level, quantity, attractiveness, accessibility and use as a weapon.

Criteria are established for categorizing fissile and other radioactive material so that nuclear security measures required during the transport of such material can be applied.

Environment related objective
The NSW Government's Commercial Fisheries Business Adjustment Program (BAP) introduced linkages between shares and catch or effort, giving fishers the ability to invest in their business with more certainty than ever before, and ensuring the long-term viability and sustainability of the NSW commercial fishing industry.

The purpose of the above subsidies and Grant were to offset the impact of the various stages of the Commercial Fisheries Business Adjustment Program (BAP) by:
• Assisting fishers to either exit the industry, purchase new shares, seek independent advice or obtain retraining, and assisting nominated fishers to establish themselves.
• Easing the burden of commercial fishery management fees & fishing boat licence fees during the BAP period.
• Assisting Fishing Cooperatives to adjust to changes in the industry by extending & subsidising leases on Crown Land.
• Promoting best practice, improving social licence with the broader community, and upskilling of commercial fishers.

Measure description Coverage of the measure
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is initiating a data and information collection process through this request for information to better understand whether there are provisions in the Department's test procedures for consumer appliances and industrial equipment that could be improved to produce results that are more representative of average use cycles or periods of use. Over time, many of DOE's test procedures have been amended to account for products' increased functionality and modes of operation. DOE's intent in issuing this RFI is to gather information to ensure that the inclusion of measurement provisions in its test procedures associated with such increased functionality has not inadvertently compromised the measurement of representative average use cycles or periods of use, and made some test procedures unnecessarily burdensome. DOE welcomes written comments from the public on any subject within the scope of this document, including topics not directly outlined in this RFI. DOE particularly welcomes comments on any suggestions for reducing or avoiding regulatory burdens within the context of measuring average use cycles or periods of use.
