Phytosanitary requirements for the importation and exportation of honey bees, their products and bumble bees

The draft resolution establishes procedures for the importation and domestic development of pesticides for agricultural use and repeals SAG Exempt Resolution No. 1038 of 2003.

Draft of Food Business Shall Establish Traceability of Food and Relevant Products

The Ministry of Industry has proposed to withdraw the list of hazardous substances under the hazardous substances list attached to the Ministry of Industry Notification; Re. List of Hazardous Substances B.E. 2556 (2013) dated 28 August B.E. 2556 (2013), List 1.1, under the responsibility of Department of Agriculture. Manufacturers, importers, exporters, or any person having in possession of type 4 hazardous substances (prohibited pesticides) as listed in this notification prior to the effective date shall abide by the order of authorized officials within 30 days of the effective date.

This notification will be published in the Royal Gazette and will be in effect on 1 December 2019

Draft Commission Delegated Directive amending, for the purposes of adapting to scientific and technical progress, Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards an exemption for lead in PZT based dielectric ceramic materials for certain capacitors

The draft Commission Delegated Regulation establishes requirements for the energy labelling and the provision of product information light sources. In particular, it removes the A+ to A++ classes from the existing energy label; it changes the measurement metrics for the energy label; it discontinues the energy label specifically dedicated to luminaires; and requires suppliers to upload the label data, the product information sheet and the technical documentation into a product registration database before products can be placed on the EU market.

The following paragraphs of the existing Mandatory Standard, SI 6 ,dealing with terrazzo floor tiles, shall be declared voluntary:

These requirements are not in line with the mandatory standards objectives to protect public health, public safety or the environment and therefore the Commissioner of Standardization had decided to declaration them as voluntary.
