Call for applications 2015:
For projects accredited as pertaining to one of the EUREKA TIC clusters, the beneficiaries may be enterprises, research bodies, or business groups or associations.
For all other projects:
(a) Enterprises, other than:
1. Public sector entities.
2. Entities incorporated after 31 December 2011, unless created from other pre-existing entities through a change of name, a merger, a takeover or a division of companies, in the terms of Law No. 3/2009 of 3 April on structural modifications to trading companies.
3. Non-profit entities engaged in economic activity.
4. Independent professionals.
(b) Economic interest groups, except for those in the public sector.
The above entities not included as beneficiaries may participate in the projects as subcontracted entities.

Duration of the subsidy: The programme is scheduled to run until the end of the Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013 - 2016. This Plan was initially due to end on 31 December 2016, but has been extended until the approval of the future State Plan for the 2017 - 2020 period, which is currently being developed by the State Secretariat for Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.
