This temporary suspension will be in place while efficacy data supporting the phytosanitary treatment schedule is reviewed.
Technical information indicates the treatment schedule required for the fruit fly Ceratitis capitata in the above Import Health Standards may no longer manage the biosecurity risk to an appropriate level. Additionally, measures need to be applied to manage the biosecurity risk posed by Drosophila suzukii which has established in Italy.

The New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries has made urgent amendments to the Import Health Standards for Vitis vinifera, Grape from Italy, to indicate a temporary suspension. This temporary suspension will be in place while efficacy data supporting the phytosanitary treatment schedule is reviewed.
Technical information indicates the treatment schedule required for the fruit fly Ceratitis capitata in the above Import Health Standards may no longer manage the biosecurity risk to an appropriate level. Additionally, measures need to be applied to manage the biosecurity risk posed by Drosophila suzukii which has established in Italy.

The notice relates to the decision taken in regard to Tomato Brown Rugose fruit virus (Tobamovirus - ToBRFV) which was reported in Turkey.
Seychelles Biosecurity Agency has decided to implement measures to prevent the entry, establishment and spread of the virus in Seychelles.
With immediate effect, all consignment of tomato entering Seychelles from Turkey shall:
• Come from Green House production only.
• Tested, declared and certified free from Tobamovirus - ToBRFV

Urgent measures have been implemented to manage the phytosanitary risks associated with the introduction, establishment and spread of the tomato disease (Tomato Brown Rugose fruit virus (Tobamovirus -ToBRFV) from Turkey to Seychelles. The disease will have a negative impact on the local tomato production and other solanaceous crop both on the farms and in the environment.

To comply with the notification of Ministry of Industry Re: list of hazardous substance type 4 under the Hazardous Substance Act B.E. 2535 (1992) which going to prohibit of the importation, distribution, sale and purchase based on scientific information that these products can be harmful to humans (especially the farmer that cause adverse effect as a result of direct exposure) and the environment include contamination of water resources and soil that may lead to disruption of ecosystem functions. Moreover, according to the Notification of MOPH, No. 387, the requested MRLs for all hazardous substance type 4 are set at the lower the limit of determination (LOD) .

The Draft Law amends, inter alia, the following Laws of Ukraine (...) "On basic principles and requirements for organic production, circulation and labelling of organic products"; (...)

For market operators the draft Law establishes additional requirements to ensure food traceability; requirements for state registration of food additives, food enzymes and flavours, newest food products, health benefits claims; simplification of conditions for obtaining, replacement of operating permits, which are issued by territorial authorities of the competent authority for each individual capacity prior to its operation; requirements for state registration/operating permit for market operators importing food products into the customs territory of Ukraine.

The United States maintains the Bonneville Power Administration (Bonneville), Southeastern Power Administration (Southeastern), Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern), and Western Area Power Administration (Western) within the DOE.
The Corps and Reclamation operate these projects to provide or manage water for such multiple purposes as irrigation, flood control, navigation, recreation, water supply, and environmental enhancement. These agencies also generate electricity at hydropower plants located at federal water projects.

Its objectives also include (..) own, operate, and maintain a high-voltage transmission system; encourage conservation; and to protect, mitigate and enhance the fish and wildlife of the Columbia River and its tributaries.
