6. Import of ozone depleted substances (ODS)…
6. Import of ozone depleted substances (ODS) except of group HCFC, is not allowed. Import of HCFC (HCFC 22) substances is under the quota system: Ozone depleted substances are controlled under the Montreal protocol. Montenegro as a Party to the Montreal protocol is obligated to full fil provisions prescribed in the Montreal protocol. This mean, beside other, to introduce import/export permit system, prohibit of import of ODS, as well as to ban import/export of ODS from and to the Non Party of Montreal Protocol. Considering that the Montenegro is article 5 country its allowed to import of HCFC (HCFC 22) substances, and system of import is under the quota system. Only company with the determined quota for import of HCFC (HCFC-22) substance for current year is allowed to import this substance. Time frame for elimination of HCFC is prescribed in the Montreal Protocol.
