Draft Uganda Standard specifies performance requirements, sampling and test methods for environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids and is intended for hydraulic systems, particularly hydraulic fluid power systems. This draft Uganda Standard stipulates the requirements for environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids at the time of delivery.

Recommendations relating to the handling and safety of preservative-treated timber are also given. This standard does not cover treatment with fire retardants.

The Technical regulation on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 139 of 10 March 2017.

The Draft of the Resolution provides for the postponement of expiration terms of certain exceptions from the restrictions of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, supplement by certain components and materials as well as supplement a list of products that is not covered by current Technical Regulation by the new species.

The Draft of the Resolution has been developed in order to bring the provisions of the Technical Regulation in compliance with the standards of the EU Directive by making appropriate changes to the Annexes.

The Technical regulation on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 139 of 10 March 2017.

Energy labeling will provide consumers with information on the level of energy consumption of other energy products and other essential resources, as well as additional information, enabling consumers to choose the most energy efficient products. The Draft of the Order also aims to bring the provisions of the Technical Regulation into compliance with the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2015/1094 of 5 May 2015 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the energy labelling of professional refrigerated storage cabinets.
