Clearance Conditions for Organic Food Products.

These conditions and requirements apply to all consignments of food where the descriptive information on the label, or in the accompanying advertisement materials and commercial documents, indicate the use of organic production methods. The term " organic ", " biological ", " biodynamic ", " ecology " or any other words with similar meanings, including phrases which suggest to the consumer that the product, or any ingredients thereof, has been produced by means of organic production methods. These conditions and requirements cover the following products:

1. Unprocessed agricultural and animal products.

2. Processed agricultural and animal products.

Saudi Quality Mark on Cord Extension, Plugs, Socket outlets.

This decision states the following:

A- The conformity assessment procedure raised to type 5 Saudi Quality Mark (SQM) for the product (Cord Extension) will be into force, after six months from the date of publication in the official gazette.

B- The conformity assessment procedure raised to type 5 Saudi Quality Mark (SQM) for the products (Plugs, Socket outlets) will be into force one year from the date of publication in the official gazette.

Air Conditioners - Minimum Energy Performance, Labelling and Testing Requirements for Low Capacity Wind ow Type and Single-Split.

This standard specifies the Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) and the energy labelling requirements for single-package of wind ow type, single split-system non-ducted air conditioners using air-cooled condensers, single split-system ducted air-conditioners using air-cooled condensers, and heat pumps using air-cooled condensers or using electric resistance for residential, commercial and industrial sector as applicable in accordance with SASO standards.

The existing Energy Conservation (Prescribed Regulated Goods) Order 2017 and the Energy Conservation (Regulated Goods and Registered Suppliers) Regulations 2017 will be amended to introduce MELS and MEPS for three-phase VRF air-conditioners.
