Farmers who follow the diversion programme from rice production to the production of diversion crops and adhere to any of the following cases:
(a) Growing rice in the base year (1994-2003); or,
(b) Growing guaranteed price purchase crops of feed corn, sorghum or sugarcane in the base year; or,
(c) Registering as set-aside or diversion under "Rice Production and Rice Field Diversion Projects" in the base year.

Agriculture Income Support and Marketing Assistance for Covered Commodities: Disaster payments
|
The programs provides disaster assistance payments to producers of eligible commodities (crops, livestock, farm-raised fish, and honey bees) in counties declared by Secretary of Agriculture to be "disaster counties", including counties contiguous to disaster counties and any farms with losses in normal production of more than 50 per cent in calendar year. Supplemental Agricultural Disaster Assistance is effective only for losses incurred as result of a disaster, adverse weather, or other environmental condition that occurs on or before 30 September 2011.
