This draft Commission Implementing Regulation provides that the active substance 3-decen-2-one is not approved in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and cannot be placed on the market in plant protection products in the EU.

In order for an active substance to be approved in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 (concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market), it must be demonstrated that the substance is not harmful to human health, animal health or the environment. Criteria are listed in Article 4 of the Regulation (and also detailed in Annex II) which must be met to enable approval.

This draft Commission Implementing Regulation provides that the active substance 3-decen-2-one is not approved in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and cannot be placed on the market in plant protection products in the EU.

This Standard amends Standard NF U42-001 of December 1981 on organic fertilizers of animal and/or plant origin.

It supplements Amendment A10 to NF U42-001:1981 which applies to products that meet the current definition of organic fertilizers of animal and/or plant origin. Draft Standard NF U42-001/A12 amends Standard NF U42-001 on fertilizers, and applies to fertilizers derived from anaerobically-digested and composted slurry.

It also establishes the designations, specifications, minimum levels of nutrients, declared contents and other identification markings for this type of organic fertilizer.

Article L. 541-10-4 of the French Environmental Code provides for the implementation of a set of symbols informing users that this waste is subject to specific waste sorting instructions and must not be thrown away together with household waste .
