Tentative Administrative Rules on Enterprises Average Fuel Consumption and New Energy Vehicle Credits

Administration Regulation on the Access of New Energy Vehicle Manufactures and Products

This regulation specifies administrative rules and review requirements for the access of new energy vehicle manufacturers and products in China. It specifies the requirements for the new energy vehicle manufacturers with regards to strengthening safety supervision and promoting, production conformity, etc. The regulation provides a transitional period for the existing new energy vehicle manufacturers and products to meet the new requirements.

The notified Technical Regulation seeks, firstly, to establish the maximum electricity consumption levels for household refrigerators and freezers using hermetic motor-driven compressors that are manufactured, imported definitively, used and marketed in the national territory, and, secondly, to prohibit the importation and domestic marketing of refrigerators that exceed these levels.

The notified text establishes the regulations, general principles and procedures governing the registration process, use and control of synthetic formulated pesticides, technical grade active ingredients, processing aids and related substances for agricultural use. It seeks to ensure that these products, as well as products of mineral origin, inorganic salts and the primary packaging thereof, are registered prior to importation, manufacturing, formulation, storage, distribution, transportation, repacking, repackaging, handling, blending, sale and use, with the aim of protecting the environment
